Looking for a Supademo alternative? What to compare before you switch
Supademo is a capable interactive demo tool with unlimited viewers on every plan. Teams usually compare alternatives when more colleagues need to create demos, when the same demo has to exist in several languages, or when demos should become training with quizzes and certificates.
What to compare in an alternative
- Who counts as a paying user: every member, every editor, or the organization as a whole.
- Which plan includes translation, and whether each language needs its own recording.
- Whether you can check understanding with quizzes and certificates, or only publish guides.
- Which formats you can share: link, embed, PDF, slides or video.
- Where content is hosted, and whether you can protect a link with a password, an expiry date or an email list.
Example: five people creating guides
- Supademo
- $250 per month, or $190 per month billed yearly
- Demo-Creator
- USD 29 per month for the whole organization
Per-seat prices look small for one person and add up with every colleague who creates or edits guides. Demo-Creator charges the organization once, so the price stays the same for five people or fifty.
When Demo-Creator is the better fit
- Up to 10 people create guides. One organization price covers every member, so adding editors does not raise the bill.
- You explain the same process in several languages. Translations and voiceovers belong to one demo instead of separate recordings.
- You need to train people, not only inform them. Courses add quizzes, assignments, due dates, progress reports and verifiable certificates.
- You share in more than one format. The same demo works as a link, an embed, a PDF manual, a PowerPoint deck or a video.
- Data location matters. The hosted service runs in the EU and is operated from Switzerland, without advertising trackers.
When Supademo is the better fit
- You run sales demos at scale and want an AI demo agent that answers buyers’ questions, billed by usage.
- You need guided HTML demos, from the Business plan up, or many 4K video recordings.
- One person builds every demo, so a single creator seat covers your team.
Moving your existing guides
Re-record the processes people use most with the browser recorder; it is usually faster than fixing old screenshots. For the rest, export each guide as a PDF where your plan allows it and import the PDF into Demo-Creator: each page becomes a slide you can annotate, translate and narrate.
Questions
Is Demo-Creator cheaper than Supademo?
When several people create demos, it usually is. Supademo Scale costs $38 per creator per month billed yearly, so five creators pay $190 per month. Demo-Creator charges one organization price for up to 10 members on Plus.
Can I move my Supademo demos to Demo-Creator?
There is no self-service import. Re-record your key demos with the browser recorder, or download them as PDFs from Supademo and import the PDFs into Demo-Creator.
Do people viewing a Demo-Creator demo need an account?
No. Published demos open in the browser without an account or extension. You can add a password or an expiry date, or limit a link to listed email addresses and domains.
Can I try Demo-Creator before paying?
Yes. Start on the Free plan, or start the Plus trial without a credit card. Nothing is deleted when the trial ends; AI features pause and Free limits apply until you subscribe.
